UPDATES

Premise

All our modules, plugins, scripts, and software are designed and developed to require a minimum number of updates, being intended to remain fully functional, with some exceptions, at least for the entire lifecycle of the "Major" version of the reference platform. This is to minimize the inconvenience resulting from the need for continuous version checks and updates, resulting in measures to take the site offline, with all that this entails, and above all, the risk of potential problems that updating any PrestaShop module inevitably entails.

How to obtain the update

There are two alternative methods:

1. Purchase the Unlimited Update Package

Purchasing the package entitles you to request and receive updates according to the express provisions of the Terms and Conditions.

2. Purchase an Update Fee

The purchase process is simple and is as follows.

Enter the UPDATE FEE Section (LINK) and follow the following steps: 
1. click on the "Search Module ..." button found in the left part of the Upgrade section (see exemplifying images), to access the search area or, alternatively, on the "Select Module ..." button, on the right. In this second case, the entire list of available module upgrades will open;
2. if you have selected the Search mode, enter the name of the single module, plugin or script you need to update in the search field (a summary of the name is also sufficient, such as for the Module · PS IT Clean Urls "-> "Clean Urls").
N.B. if there is a need to update more modules, plugins or scripts, simply repeat the following procedure for each one;

2. press the "Search" button;

3. a list of modules will appear (see image) and, once your Module has been identified (generally in the list, unless you carry out an extremely detailed search, more modules will appear that contain the searched keyword) press the "Buy" button or , if you enter the product sheet, "Add to Cart".

4. proceed with the purchase. If you are not already logged in to our store it will be necessary to log in or register (having switched to a new platform it is possible that, even if you are registered in our previous store, your old account will not be recognized for not having provided what was requested with communication dated 01.02.2022, reiterated several times. In this case you just need to register again, even using the same email address used for the old account. NB if your account is not recognized at the first login, it is useless to proceed with the password recovery procedure. It will still be necessary to proceed with a new registration.)
5. conclude with the payment.
You will receive via email the download link for the latest release available. You can also download directly from your order history, where you will be automatically redirected at the end of the purchase procedure.

How to update.

To proceed with the update, simply uninstall the old version and then proceed with the installation of the new release, taking care to follow in detail the instructions provided with the manual, if provided.
It is also strongly recommended, as per the Terms and Conditions, to previously perform a security backup and to put your site in maintenance mode for the time necessary to complete and verify the correct functioning of the new module version.
